What to expect:

Your Child’s

First Visit

We believe the first visit sets the tone for a lifetime of healthy smiles. Our goal is to make this milestone memorable! Here's what you can expect, and how to prepare.

A Warm Welcome

When you arrive, our friendly team will greet you and your child to make sure you both feel at home. We invite your child to explore our kid-friendly space, complete with movies on the ceiling and a fun, relaxing atmosphere.

The "Tell-Show-Do" Approach

We never want a child to feel surprised or scared. We use a simple "Tell-Show-Do" method for every part of the exam. First, we explain the tool in kid-friendly terms. Next, we show them how it works, like "counting" their teeth with a tiny mirror. Finally, we perform the check-up once they feel comfortable.

A Gentle Exam and Cleaning

A Gentle Exam & Cleaning

Our Pediatric Dentist will perform a gentle but thorough examination to check tooth development, gum health, assess their cavity risk and jaw alignment. If your child is ready, we will perform a dental cleaning and apply a protective fluoride treatment to keep their enamel strong.

Partnering with Parents

The first visit is the perfect time for us to chat and educate families. We will review proper brushing and flossing techniques and discuss nutrition tips to prevent cavities before they start. We are here to answer all your questions and ensure you feel confident in managing your child’s oral health at home.

The Reward

At the end of the appointment, every child receives a special coin to use at one of our seven prize machines. Whether they are looking for something bouncy, sparkly, or fun, we make sure they leave our office with a big smile.
